Apple County Kit Cars
Welcome to the Apple County Kit Cars Meetings
The invite to take part in the regular Run-Outs and other activities is open to all KIT CAR owners such as: Robin Hood, Pilgrim, Westfield, Dax, MK Indy, Dutton, Spartan, LoCost, Caterham and dare we say any real Lotus Seven Cars out there.
We (normally) meet on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH at approximately the times shown below, at the outward Layby on Priorswood Road, Taunton, between the Renault Dealership Roundabout and the Recycling Depot Roundabout. (But please check the Forum as other adhoc weekend and midweek Run-outs are also arranged.
Then at approximately 5 minutes passed the hour, we have a convoy Run-Out to 'The Grey Lake' Public House in Greinton, situated on the A361 between Taunton and Glastonbury which we have adopted as the Apple County Kit Cars HQ. It's a really nice straight run of about 12 Miles across the Somerset Levels. Of course if you wish, you can simply go straight there, we normally hope to hook up between 2pm-3.30pm in the Summer, and 1pm-2.30pm in the Winter.
As with all Meetings and Run-Outs, it is always advisable to check the 'Forum' beforehand to see any messages of Confirmation, Cancellations, Venue or Time Changes have been posted to ensure you dont end up as Billy No-Mates.
This is particularly true if the weather is inclement! Understandably, it is extremely unlikely anyone will turn up if it is raining!

As well as the monthly Scheduled Meetings, Trevor (Head of Engineering) has confirmed the Bridgwater Posse also meet up on the 3rd/4th Thursday of the month. Not sure if that's 'EVERY' 3rd/4th Thursday, we will try to confirm this soon.
The next meet is on the 22nd May at the 'Gatehouse' pub near Bridgwater from 7.30pm. It has been suggested that the ACKCC should meet up in Taunton at the usual spot at around 7.15pm on 22nd May to have a run out to hook up with the Bridgwater Posse if anyone is interested.
